As well as exhibiting and working as a professional Portraitist on commissions and community projects, Oriane is an experienced and enthusiastic tutor. Along side her regular classes, she offers bespoke programmes tailored around each student's specific goals and personal enjoyment of the traditional arts. Whether you're aiming to improve your drawing skills, capture a true likeness in a portrait, master colour mixing and applying oil paints or fleshing out your portfolio and sketchbooks for university or college, one on one, targeted tutoring will carve out a structured path to that outcome. Oriane teaches privately from her studio at Barnabas Arts House in Newport, South Wales, which is fully stocked with all the equipment you'll need to succeed. Having attained a First Class Degree in Fine Art from Oxford Brookes University and further training at Slade School of Fine Art and the Royal Drawing School, Oriane is on the road to establishing herself as a fully-fledged portraitist, balancing commissioned work with other self-motivated paintings. She has exhibited in galleries across the UK, and has been shortlisted for and acquired several portraiture awards.
